By accident, I notice that ktnef(part of kdepim) is not packaged at all in Gentoo. I don't use it , but considering that it is packaged in a few major distributions I have just checked (Debian, Arch, Fedora, openSUSE), I would say it should also be packaged in Gentoo. kmail seems to be its main user, because it is part of the kmail package in Debian. Reproducible: Always
Added live ebuilds in overlay, will make it into 4.11.3.
Two issue with the ebuilds in the kde overlay: 1. it depends upon kde-base/akonadi-server, while it should be app-office/akonadi-server 2. should ktnef be part of kdepim-meta ?
Created attachment 360646 [details] patched ebuild with corrected akonadi reference Attached is a minor update to the current ebuild to depend on the correct akonadi. Also, I had to add: echo '=kde-base/ktnef-4.11.49.9999 **' >> /etc/portage/package.accept_keywords/user.keywords To my user keywords, but I am using the 4.11 overlay and keywords. Does the 4.11 overlay keywords also need to be updated, since the 4.11 is trying to pull in ktnef? ... Thanks!
Thanks all. Added 4.11.2 with fixed akonadi-server dep to the tree. Will add the package to kde-base/kdepim-meta when it is keyworded for all required arches. + 11 Oct 2013; Johannes Huber <johu@gentoo.org> +ktnef-4.11.2.ebuild, + +metadata.xml: + New package wrt bug #486798.
