This should imho be fixed by now.
Comment 3 Coacher 2013-10-22 22:10:51 UTC
No, it's not. Same problem with libkcddb-4.11.2
Comment 4 Coacher 2013-10-22 22:12:27 UTC
$ equery b /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kcontrol/cddbretrieval/common
 * Searching for /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kcontrol/cddbretrieval/common ...
kde-base/libkcddb-4.11.2 (/usr/share/doc/HTML/en/kcontrol/cddbretrieval/common -> /usr/share/doc/HTML/en/common)

And this symlink is broken as can be easily checked by `ls`.
Comment 5 Michael Palimaka (kensington) gentoo-dev 2013-10-23 10:13:33 UTC
It looks like libkcddb unconditionally installs handboook, causing the dangling symlink with kdelibs[-handbook].
Comment 6 Michael Palimaka (kensington) gentoo-dev 2014-11-24 17:45:16 UTC
Thanks, fixed in CVS and git.
