Description Francesco Turco 2013-09-15 10:44:14 UTC
I'm updating gnome-base/gnome-control-center from version 3.8.4.1-r1 to version 3.8.5 as part of my system update. I noted that emerge prints the following yellow warning message when emerging it:

 * Running elibtoolize in: gnome-control-center-3.8.5/egg-list-box/
 * We've already been run in this tree; you should
 * avoid this if possible (perhaps by filing a bug)

I am sure:
cd egg-list-box/ && eautoreconf && cd ..

this was needed because, for some reason, the other autoreconf stuff (apart of libtoolize) wasn't being run for egg-list-box :/
Comment 2 Alexandre Rostovtsev (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-09-22 22:57:52 UTC
Normally, eautoreconf takes care of nested configures automatically when the top-level configure uses the AC_CONFIG_SUBDIRS macro.

Unfortunately, gnome-control-center does not use the AC_CONFIG_SUBDIRS macro. So to run eautoreconf in $S and $S/egg-list-box, we need to manually add the same AT_NOELIBTOOLIZE hack that autotools.eclass uses internally.

Ah, thanks for the info
