the build dies with 
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/tools/ant/Main

The actual problem is with ant ebuild. It doens't install correctly. I'll submit an ant 
fix soon.

This was caused due to an outdated version of the jdk being merged before ant,
closing bug.
