Description William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-05-30 18:53:01 UTC
Syslog-ng now includes a system() source driver which collects the
system-specific log messages on the platform where it is running [1].

I will attach a patch to update our default configurations to take
advantage of this where possible.

use-system-source.patch

This patch updates the default configurations to use the system() source
driver where possible.

An advantage to this, besides making the default files more generic, is
that the systemd warning now only applies to hardened.

You may want to revbump, but I'll leave that to your call.
