It's deprecated in favor of people using mono-env.eclass to get common vars needed by dotnet stuff and stop doing ugly changes in libdir behavior. Would be nice if repoman could warn to prevent its usage in newer ebuilds

This is fixed in 2.1.12.3 and 2.2.0_alpha178.
