Please provide a new ebuild for the new bugfix release 1.9.1 of icinga. Also i think it would be great to add an additional USE flag "contrib" to install the files and folders within the contrib folder of the icinga sources. Especially the contrib/downtimes/sched_down.pl should be available to install via a USE flag, because this really ease up the creation of recurring downtimes. If you are not already working on it, please let me know so that i can update the current icinga ebuild to provide the described changes. Reproducible: Always
I'm not sure it needs a new use flag (maybe it should just be called when the eventhandler flag is set). I'm asking upstream if the contrib stuff is within the scope of eventhandler.
Hello Matthew, not everything within the contrib folder is within the scope of the eventhandler. There are at least two specific which imho should be installable via use flags. 1. The downtime schedule script (contrib/downtimes/down_sched.pl) 2. The jabber notification script (contrib/notifications/notify_via_jabber)
added a contrib flag :D
