Do you want to give making a ebuild a go?
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-howto.xml. They are fairly simple and if
you need a hand just take a look at the examples in the portage already and ask
if stuck. There are lots of ebuild requests and ones submitted with ebuilds get
accepted a bit quicker.

Commited to cvs. Any change of adding an initscript for autopsy?

Arch test requested - pure perl application - shouldn't be too bad - (touch wood).

Marked ~sparc; this installs on sparc, and a browser can connect to it & get
the documentation, at least.

tested on hppa : seems to be OK : 
this installs on hppa, and a browser can connect to it & get
the documentation, at least.
