Maybe switch straight to 3.10?
Stable for HPPA.

Hey, linux-headers-3.9 broke my system configured with module iproute2 and bridge-utils. No network interface configured as bridge using module iproute2 was able to start: "module not found". Downgraded to linux-headers-3.7 and everything is back to work again. (Yes, re-built kernel, binutils, glibc, gcc after upgrading to linux-headers-3.9; then re-emerged iproute2-3.8.0 and bridge-utils-1.4, restarted.) Did I do something wrong? Or is it just me?
alpha stable
media-sound/alsa-headers collides with linux-headers-3.9 and causes failure to build. alsa-headers has been masked and removed from the tree but it may still be on user's systems so I've added a blocker which should be pointless by the next version.
