Hello,

Please consider to create /etc/exports.d as it is supported (bug#459600) and missing, it makes it hard to be serve as dropdir.

Thanks!

i don't know what you mean "serve as dropdir". it doesn't impact any ebuild's ability to install into it, and `mkdir -p /etc/exports.d` is trivial.

Same principal as:

app-admin/logrotate: /etc/logrotate.d
app-admin/sudo: /etc/sudoers.d
sys-process/vixie-cron: /etc/cron.d
sys-apps/openrc: /etc/sysctl.d, /etc/local.d
and more.

The directory is assigned to the package that provides it, a simple keepdir is enough.

Thanks!

should be all set now in the tree; thanks for the report!

Commit message: Run keepdir on /etc/exports.d
