Description Simon Cooper 2004-04-06 07:18:52 UTC
moving cpufreqd-1.1.1.ebuild to 1.1.2 works fine except the init.d script has an error in the DAEMON line - /usr/usr/sbin/cpufreqd needs changing to /usr/sbin/cpufreqd

Reproducible: Always

sorry, the sed line needs to be removed, not the DAEMON line edited.

In the sample cpufreqd.conf file, there is a misleading comment about cpu_min=66%, cpu_max=1700. It should read cpu_max=1700000, as the entries are in KHz, not MHz. After replacing the % with absolute numbers, i followed the example and my system nearly came to a halt when trying it out (my cpu can go down to 100MHz).
