To whom it may concern,

Please find attached beep-1.2.2.tar.bz2 containing beep-1.2.2.ebuild.

Beep is a nifty program to produce customized console beeps.  Options inclue
pitch setting, duration, and number of beeps.

I suggest app-misc/beep.  This package has no dependencies.  Application
compiles and installs correctly without any sandbox errors.

Thanks for your time and a wonderful distribution!

Checked into the Portage tree as app-misc/beep.

I chose not to suid it because of security concerns. Whoever wants to suid it
because they want to allow everyone to beep, they have to chmod u+s it themselves.
