I'm not sure what to put here. It works very well for "alpha" software and with the recent sys-fs/udev changes, it has more predictable behavior that users of stable will already be familiar with. Reproducible: Always
-1, see for eg. http://github.com/gentoo/eudev/issues like 52 new release should be rolled after verifying compatibility with ~sys-fs/udev-200, then wait... i'm not the maintainer but it's too early
According to udev upstream's way looking like microsoft's "Eat what we give to you, it's cool!!!11" way eudev is the thing a lot of people are waiting for. eudev guys thank you! May be ther is a way to help you with a money?

Anyhow, we are pretty much caught up with 200 and will be release something this weekend for that.
eudev-1.1 just hit the tree. we have all issues covered and we will be looking to stabilize it in one month. please test and open bugs for any issues that you might find and have them block this one.
Will you stabilize version 1.1 or 1.2?
(In reply to cyberbat from comment #5) > Will you stabilize version 1.1 or 1.2? Let's stabilize eudev-1.1. Arches, please target: KEYWORDS="alpha amd64 arm hppa ia64 m68k ppc ppc64 s390 sh sparc x86"
I've successfully used eudev-1.1 since 2013-07-12 on x86 and amd64.
Stable for HPPA.
(In reply to cyberbat from comment #5) > Will you stabilize version 1.1 or 1.2? eudev-1.2 needs to wait for stabilization until sys-fs/udev-206 and virtual/udev-206 go stable as well. We'll file for stabilization in parallel with those package atoms.
