Description:   Opened: 2004-03-31 11:39 0000
When trying to upgrade to im-ja-1.0:

[ebuild     U ] app-i18n/im-ja-1.0 [0.9-r1] -anthy -canna -debug +freewnn -gnome -skk  0 kB

During the configuration, got this:

> checking for libpanelapplet-2.0 >= 2.0.0... Package libpanelapplet-2.0 was not > found in the pkg-config search path.
> Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libpanelapplet-2.0.pc'
> to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
> No package 'libpanelapplet-2.0' found
>
> configure: error: Library requirements (libpanelapplet-2.0 >= 2.0.0) not met; > consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries > are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

Some dependancy is probably missing. The "gnome-panel" package provides it. But when the "gnome" useflag is turned off the dependency is not active.

Thanks for fixing this small problem,
Stephane.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge im-ja
with USE="-gnome" and libpanelapplet not installed.
