pls mark stable, see: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=390519
198-r6 was supposed to be our next stable, but we decided to wait for 199 to get the new kernel command line net.ifnames=0 option to disable the new networking naming however 199 also optionalized the firmware loader since newer kernels can handle this on their own now, and it introduced one minor bug in the build system, which is why upstream released 200 so this should be considered as "stabilization of 198 with bugfixes" and you can trust every git commit to be have reviewed so lets make this a stabilization request of: =sys-fs/udev-200 =sys-fs/udev-init-scripts-25 and as a prereq, get hwids from bug 463678 (that one you can do now) and despite CCing archteams right now, don't mark this stable yet before I have released the news item for the predictable network changes, more better than what the old one had, due to popular demand i'll say 'go' here once it's out, propably today or tomorrow
OK, news item is committed. At your own pace, no hurry. Thanks!
