The SheepShaver ebuild has only a ~ppc mark. It works in x86 too. In Gentoo
Linux you must apply a patch and two environment variables: The Patch
http://gwenole.beauchesne.online.fr/sheepshaver/patches/x86_fpu_opts.diff. And
the Variables:

export WANT_AUTOCONF=2.5 
export WANT_AUTOMAKE=1.7
