Sorry if I jump in here without discussion and that with even two revbumps, but I bumped it to 1.8 back then and figured two severe issues while testing library consumers (which are currently rare in the tree): a) broken library symlinks (fixed in -r1) b) we remove bundled libs, but don't link against the system ones. It seems that this is weirdly nonfatal, but consumers will break during runtime depending on their usage of irrlicht (fixed in -r2, since this is a change in a patch it should be tested by arch team). Maybe this is even due to a binutils update, I did not chase it down to the last ground. Since b) really breaks this library I will call for fast-stabilizing. @ arch teams Please mark irrlicht-1.8-r2.ebuild stable.
