Description Roman Žilka 2013-03-01 15:24:01 UTC
The current stable mirrorselect doesn't know of /etc/portage/make.conf (bug 442654). Please stabilize mirrorselect-2.2.0-r1. The manpage may need some trivial fixes wrt the move of make.conf as well.

Reproducible: Always

oh, I forgot about this one, my how time flies. I'll look into the man pages, but I thought I fixed that too.
Comment 2 Brian Dolbec (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-03-01 15:41:40 UTC
yeah, missed one spot in the man page. I'll make a patch...
Comment 3 Roman Žilka 2013-05-01 12:15:27 UTC
If it's only about the manpage polishing, I think the ~arch version should be stabilized even without it. It's secondary at the moment.
Comment 4 Brian Dolbec (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-05-01 14:45:56 UTC
Sorry, I've done the updates, and even made a new tarball for release. Real life has gotten in the way these past (Wow, it's been a month already.) weeks. I'll get it in the tree by the weekend.

Since it is only some non code related changes it won't affect stabilization.
Comment 5 Roman Žilka 2013-05-01 17:41:49 UTC
The difference between the current stable and ~arch mirrorselect is about code changes (that's how this bug started).
Comment 6 Brian Dolbec (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2013-06-16 17:49:04 UTC
Ok, I was delayed (health issues, from work accident) but have now pushed out the revamped 2.2.0.1 ebuild with the manpage corrections.

Changes were only done to manpages as described in the previous comments. No, changes were made to the working code, so should not affect stabilization. This release also incorporates the patches made for 2.2.0-r1. This bug has been the only one opened for the 2.2 update which handles the make.conf move.
