I currently have courier-authlib 0.64.0 current installed and running with authmysql. When I try to update courier-authlib to the latest 0.65.0-R2 the configure script fails after the following: checking for mysql_config... /usr/bin/mysql_config checking for mysql_connect... no checking for mysql_real_connect... yes checking for sqlite3_version... no configure: error: Cannot link with From analyzing the configure script, even though mysql is detected, the doauthmysql variable appears to not be set to true and causes the configure script to execute the test for sqlite, which I do not have.

I can confirm this fix worked for me and that I had exactly the same error condition as the OP. I’m on x86, suggest moving the r3 version to stable (unless it is going to be fixed upstream)
Same thing for me, net-libs/courier-authlib-0.65.0-r3 works but -r2 throws "cannot link with".
