On a clean install of gstreamer there is still a static library installed, which gives problems at revdep-rebuild time:

*   broken /usr/lib64/gstreamer-1.0/libgstcoreelements.la (requires /usr/lib64/libgstbase-1.0.la)
 *   broken /usr/lib64/gstreamer-1.0/libgstcoreelements.la (requires /usr/lib64/libgstreamer-1.0.la)

Am I safe in deleting it?

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge -1 =gstreamer-1.0.5
Actual Results:  
Broken libtool archive files are installed.

Expected Results:  
No .la files installed.

Why was "prune_libtool_files --modules" in 1.0.3 replaced with "prune_libtool_files" in 1.0.5?

media-plugins/gst-plugins-ffmpeg-0.10.13-r2 also contains *.la:

for 1.0.5, it's my mistake, I misread the install update diff.

For gst-ffmpeg, the ebuild has been untouched for quite a while so this is a separate problem.
