Please bump dev-ruby/facter to 1.6.17, released on 2012-12-27.
Changelog: http://projects.puppetlabs.com/versions/359.
In particular, this fixes upstream bug http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/15001, which resolves #432452 and allows to disable old-output USE dependency for net-tools. Upstream fix is better because due to #179920, which breaks facter with old-output net-tools with long network interface names.

This version fails it own tests, that needs to be investigated first.

This turned out to be a problem with newer mocha versions. Facter 1.6.17 is now in the tree.
