Some comments:
“yenc” should be force (improve download speed/decrease CPU usage).

SABnzbd can use rar/unrar, RDEPEND should be:
rar? ( app-arch/rar )
=> || ( app-arch/unrar app-arch/rar )

Bug:
When SABnzbd is launched for the first time from scratch (without “/etc/sabnzbd/sabnzbs.ini”), SABnzbd create his own arborescence into “/etc” (instead of “/var/lib/sabnzbd”).

ls /etc/sabnzbd/
“admin  Downloads  logs  sabnzbd.ini  sabnzbd.ini.bak”
A small ini file should be provide (I will attach one).

There will be log files in /var/log/sabnzbd but no logrotate (I will attach one).

Reproducible: Always

Excellent, thanks for all the work and the report.  Only concern I have is if logrotate and the in-app file rotation will conflict.  I suspect not and added it but will be monitoring on my own systems.  Everything else you suggested should be in as well.
