You can test the ati-drivers legacy SLOT in x11-overlay layman -a x11 emerge -C ati-drivers emerge ati-drivers:legacy I am only able to compile test them, so please tell, whether there really is support for xorg-server-1.13
Emil, thanks for your time, i was able to compile the legacy driver successfully, but it doesn't have support for Xorg 1.13.1 yet =/ packages, x11-drivers/ati-drivers-13.1-r100(legacy) x11-base/xorg-server-1.13.1.901 x11-base/xorg-drivers-1.13 error, X.Org X Server 1.13.1.901 (1.13.2 RC 1) ... [ 162.169] (EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/fglrx_drv.so: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/fglrx_drv.so: undefined symbol: noXFree86DRIExtension ... [ 162.169] (EE) Failed to load module "fglrx" (loader failed, 7) [ 162.169] (EE) No drivers available. Fatal server error: [ 162.169] no screens found as you can see it produces the same infamous error.
