Shouldn't lightdm pull in at least one greeter? Otherwise you end up in the dark after your next restart when upgrading from the last stable version (1.0.11). And shouldn't at least one greeter be stable, too? Without a greeter lightdm is pretty useless.

We do have the elog message in the current ebuild. There is a choice of greeters, and in theory one could use a greeter not in portage. I had already filed a stable request for the razorqt-lightdm-greeter (bug #452646), and i will file ones for the other greeters now as well.
