Comment 3 Alexey Sychev 2013-01-12 10:20:42 UTC
Confirm, same problem.
Comment 4 jeremy 2013-01-12 10:48:32 UTC
Confirmed. Seems to be parallel make issue. Successfully builds after setting MAKEOPTS="-j1"
Comment 5 SchAmane 2013-01-12 11:08:10 UTC
Confirm, same here for different x86_64 machines. Compiling with one thread (-j1) let install udev.
Comment 6 peter.thebates 2013-01-12 11:37:49 UTC
MAKEOPTS="-j1" fixed it for me as well.
Comment 7 Sok Ann Yap 2013-01-12 13:33:58 UTC
MAKEOPTS="-j2" also works.
Comment 8 Xi 2013-01-12 14:40:15 UTC
same problem here, "-j1" fixed the issue. "-j5" failed.

build log and emerge --info: http://bpaste.net/show/69753/
Comment 9 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2013-01-12 16:40:45 UTC
I added -j1 to the install phase. Now udev should be able to be
installed. I run with -j2; that is why I didn't see this.

Thanks for the report.
