... also, an update to 5.1.14 would be nice, as it has some fixes over 5.1.13 (like a SIGSYS crash in data set operations).
5.1.13 and below shouldn't be used on amd64 due to a 64-bits specific bug. This was fixed in 5.1.14 (an ebuild has been submitted - http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43261). Further, since Gentoo/amd64 is currently my working platform, it makes sense to add amd64, not ~amd64 to the list of KEYWORDS ;-). (I'm the maintaner of the package).
