It would be nice to have the latest release candidate of Calligra 2.5

Also a live ebuild for 2.6 branch could be added

Dilfridge usually did this.

I have no intention to work on it much as it crashes too much for my liking.

So feel free to get involved, any patches are welcome :-)

The comment about it sucking was made regarding the release candidate.

The only reason this package should be bumped is for krita 2.6.

simply copied calligra[-l10n]-2.5.5 to 2.6.2 and everything compiled fine.
At least calligraauthor is missing. Is there already someone working on this update?

patches in which way? To make it compile/options work/usual gentoo-"no_automagic"-things? Or do you really want to see the remaining issues (crashes) fixed :D

Well then became involved and work on the package.

Honestly so far it seems nobody is interested in working on it and fixing the problems.

Again: which problems. I already asked you. As I don't have any issues with the copied ebuild + the subset of tools I use I really don't know how to help...

I can confirm that renaming the "old" Ebuilds to 2.6.3 works.
But one more change on the calligra-l10n-2.6.3.ebuild file was neccesary for me:
I must remove from the line "MY_LANGS=" the localization for "ja".
As it seems that there is no file for "ja" on the ftp server
ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/stable/calligra-2.6.3/calligra-l10n/

And btw. Calligra Author was also build,see attached screenshot..
