ebuild committed to gentoo sunrise
Comment 2 Thomas Sachau gentoo-dev 2014-12-14 13:53:37 UTC
The ebuild in sunrise was outdated and unmaintained, so it got removed.

Are you still interested in this? What would it be used for?

It was a dependency needed for Lintian which is a program that checks for bugs and policy violations in debian packages. I was using it as part of a build process to build debian packages. I don't need it at this point because I'm not trying to build debian packages anymore. So the question is whether it's useful to anyone to verify syntax and build debian packages on gentoo or just whip up a vm if needed for that specific purpose?

OK I see.

If you need it again, please file a new bug.
