The ebuild unpacks the files into Gentoo-typical directories (e.g. /usr/share/gasgano), but does not adapt the shell script that starts the program (/usr/bin/gasgano), or at least doesn't adapt it correctly. In the script after installation I see paths like BASE=/usr/lib/gasgano JREBASE=/usr/lib/gasgano CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:$BASE/lib/gasgano.jar all of which point to non-existing directories and/or files. I fiddled around with the script, and adapted paths so that it would start at least: BASE=/usr/share/gasgano JREBASE=/opt/sun-jre-bin-1.6.0.37 but I think this should really somehow use the settings that I can set using |eselect java|. When starting it the first time, it also gives an error about not finding "gasgano/config/VLT.oca", but I cannot tell at the moment, where it is looking for it by default.
