I can't emerge net-misc/iputils, configure says:

Can't confirm this, net-misc/iputils has worked for me since first installation on amd64, the ebuild is
marked ~amd64. Plz close this one.

I can confirm, the only time configure is run is when ${ROOT}/usr/include/linux/pfkeyv2.h exists.
