Created attachment 331146 [details, diff] patch between wayland-0.95.0.ebuild from tree and proposed wayland-1.0.2.ebuild This patch basically adds the doc USE-flag since docs are built by default (if not disabled) and depend on doxygen
It's impossible to build media-libs/mesa-9.0.1 without this ebuild. Why isn't this getting committed?
It's possible to build mesa-9.0.1, with the wayland flag disabled (which is the default).
(In reply to comment #3) > It's possible to build mesa-9.0.1, with the wayland flag disabled (which is > the default). That's true - you're right that it's "only" impossible with that non-default USE flag set. Why not commit the simple bump ASAP and allow also the non-default USE flag to work?
Btw I've added the dev-libs/wayland-1.0.2.ebuild to my 'stuge' overlay which is included in the layman list.
Any updates on why this isn't commited? Many people want to try out wayland.
Matt, thanks for the bump to 1.0.2. Some remarks: 1. $Header $-line in the ebuild is wrong, it states "wayland-0.95.0.ebuild" there 2. please add support for the "doc" USE-flag so it won't fail when doxygen is not installed (see the attached patch here or https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442468 thanks
Oh, I didn't even thing to look for a bug on this. Sorry. (In reply to comment #7) > Matt, thanks for the bump to 1.0.2. Some remarks: > 1. $Header $-line in the ebuild is wrong, it states "wayland-0.95.0.ebuild" > there I don't see that. It says # $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/dev-libs/wayland/wayland-1.0.3.ebuild,v 1.1 2013/01/21 01:40:11 mattst88 Exp $ here. And it's generated by cvs, not me, so.. > 2. please add support for the "doc" USE-flag so it won't fail when doxygen > is not installed (see the attached patch here or > https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442468 Will do so, thanks.
