A new version 1.5 is available. Just rename the existing from
radeontool-1.2.ebuild to radeontool-1.5.ebuild and it works fine

Confirmed.

I've tested radeontool-1.5 with my IBM Thinkpad X31 which is equipped with an ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M6 LY.
