psad-2.2 was released in April. This has a number of advantages over net-firewall/2.1.7 (the latest in the tree). Amongst other changes, it adds support for IpV6 and has fixes for the depreciated 'qw()' messages in Perl >= 2.14.

Whoah, why does psad belong to hardened?  Does anyone in netmon want to take this package?

It's in the tree. Please test 2.2 vigorously as a lot changed compared to the 2.1.7 ebuild. I am especially interested in missing runtime dependencies. Please file a new bug report for any issues that may arise. Thanks for reporting!
