As a side note, I get the version bump notifications as I am subscribed to desktop-devel-list@gnome.org mailing list, maybe it interests you if you maintain for packages related with gnome :/

You are more than welcome to bump this package then. I really haven't been active in the D-Bus world since pre-1.0 days.

Version bumps used to come through gnome-announce@ which I follow but it appears they've moved to a new list which is why I've been missing the bumps.
