*libdbusmenu-qt-0.9.2 (17 May 2012) 30 days passed, compiles fine on amd64, no open bugs. Please mark it stable.
I would prefer us to not have any libdbusmenu-qt as stable since this whole Ayatana project is still requiring intrusive patches to the graphical toolkits, GTK+2, GTK+3, and Qt4 However this has been stabilized before, so if you really need it as a KDE dependency, do it If you don't, just kill 0.8.2 from tree, as in, purposely drop stable keywords
all of the ayatana libs should be behind USE="ayatana" which is in base/use.mask I haven't yet encoutered an upstream that forces it enabled except that of an 'glipper', the PyGTK+ GTK+2 clipboard program So please introduce USE="ayatana" if possible, if not then go for stabilize...
http://qa-reports.gentoo.org/output/genrdeps/rindex/dev-libs/libdbusmenu-qt http://quickgit.kde.org/index.php?p=kdelibs.git&a=blob&f=CMakeLists.txt find_package(DBusMenuQt) macro_log_feature(DBUSMENUQT_FOUND "DBusMenuQt" "Support for notification area menus via the DBusMenu protocol" "https://launchpad.net/libdbusmenu-qt" TRUE "" "") At least for kdelibs it seems to be a hard requirement.
