will require new spidermonkey from bug 420997
hppa@ was missing from CC list for some reason -> CCing now wrt bug 436666
alternative you can use.mask 'consolekit policykit udisks upower' and maybe more, and drop some KEYWORDS: http://qa-reports.gentoo.org/output/genrdeps/rindex/sys-auth/polkit This is the package list after 'grep -v policykit' since it's in use.mask (or will be?) app-admin/abrt app-admin/gksu-polkit app-admin/openrc-settingsd app-admin/system-tools-backends dev-python/python-slip[dbus] gnome-base/gnome-control-center gnome-base/gnome-panel gnome-base/gnome-shell gnome-extra/cinnamon gnome-extra/nm-applet gnome-extra/polkit-gnome:obsolete gnome-extra/polkit-gnome:0 lxde-base/lxpolkit net-misc/networkmanager net-print/cups-pk-helper sys-apps/accountsservice sys-apps/rigo-daemon sys-auth/fprintd sys-auth/polkit-qt sys-auth/rtkit sys-fs/udisks:0 sys-fs/udisks:2 sys-power/upower x11-misc/colord Pretty much only GNOME has it hardcoded and minor arch's propably shouldn't have something like gnome-shell anyways. Xfce still works fine with xfce4-mount-plugin and sudo for reboot/shutdown, and I suspect same for others.
29 Jun 2012; Jeroen Roovers <jer@gentoo.org> spidermonkey-1.8.5-r1.ebuild, spidermonkey-1.8.7.ebuild: Marked ~hppa (bug #420997). Why were polkit keywords dropped in the first place? Marked ~hppa.
