copying the dillo-0.7.3-r7.ebuild to dillo-0.8.0.ebuild seems to work. It's been out a month, bump it for ~x86; it works for me, that's what I'm using to submit this bug.
you know what I have some patches I've been meaning to add, too, like gtk2 and stuff so I'll get to that shortly, unless brad wants this?
As for i18n patch, you can find it at http://teki.jpn.ph/pc/software/dillo-0.8.0-i18n-20040217.diff.bz2 (HOMEPAGE is http://teki.jpn.ph/pc/software/index-e.shtml) It doesn't contain truetype patch, ssl patch, auth patch, frame patch, tab patch, web search patch and so on, but at least it adds basic i18n support without gettext.
usata, I haven't used dillo in ages, do you want this?
Well, I'm interested in taking this package because dillo is one of my main browsers ;)So, what patches did you intend to add? (URLs, pointers?)
seemant: I wanted to ask you about what patches you had been trying to add.
ah, there was the truetype and tabs and gtk2 patches that I had in mind for the last version
thanks. i'll incorporate them to the ebuild.
Applied tab/frame and truetype patch along with i18n patch. I didn't put GTK+ 2 patch this time (I failed to apply it simply). Just FYI, here is a link to "GTK" performance and Dillo" to gtk-app-devel list. http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gtk-app-devel-list/2003-October/msg00170.html I didn't confirm whether it is correct or not, but if it is true, I don't think dillo users (including me) will ant GTK+ 2 patch... This version of dillo puts a warning "main.c:333: main: get_command failed" on the terminal which you run dillo from when you load bookmark.dpi. I'll remove this in the next revision.
