As suggested by Diego on the mailing list, it would be better if we used: 1) USE=upnp for port forwarding using UPnP-IGD, 2) USE=dlna for multimedia magic using UPnP/DLNA. This way, people who only want port forwarding using UPnP wouldn't get additional dependencies and code for DLNA which they have no use for. Thus, please change the USE=upnp flag to USE=dlna in the ebuild.
We reached a consensus that the flag will be named USE=upnp-av. It is a global flag now.
Note: unlike some other packages, this one actually wants 'gupnp-dlna' rather than 'gupnp-av'. Not sure what's the difference but you may want to name the flag somehow else.
