Strangely, the build in portage is not the same as on opera servers. Steps to reproduce: 1. wget http://snapshot.opera.com/unix/32633_12.50-1583/opera-next-12.50-1583.x86_64.linux.tar.xz -P /usr/portage/distfiles 2. emerge -1 opera-next Result: Calculating dependencies... done! >>> Verifying ebuild manifests >>> Emerging (1 of 1) www-client/opera-next-12.50.1583 Refetching... File renamed to '/usr/portage/distfiles/opera-next-12.50-1583.x86_64.linux.tar.xz._checksum_failure_.bWr02m' >>> Downloading 'http://mirror.yandex.ru/gentoo-distfiles/distfiles/opera-next-12.50-1583.x86_64.linux.tar.xz'
Looks like the files on http://snapshot.opera.com/ were replaced after the ebuild was committed.

If you run 64-Bit you can try one as well but I already know the result there. EDIT: The above link will not work now as I have moved the repacks into the parent directory. Re-download to get a new build with a working plugin wrapper
Thanks for reporting. It should be fixed on the rsync/distfiles mirrors soon.
Yay, it indeed works. Thanks!
