@maintainer: it overwrites -O?, I'd say to drop the second -O2:

x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc -Wall -D_GNU_SOURCE -DLinux -DVERSION=\"3.8.2\" -march=native -O2 -g0 -O2  -DWITH_ACL      -c -o basenames.o basenames.c

amd64box ~ # emerge --info | grep CFLAGS
CFLAGS="-march=native -O2 -g0"

(not a blocker)

No mips or x86-fbsd stable keywords.
