Description Holger Hoffstätte 2012-08-12 11:13:09 UTC
Bug #427862 deleted the /etc/make.globals symlink, this broke ufed which now cannot find USE flag descriptions any longer.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. update to portage-2.2.0_alpha121 OR portage-2.1.11.10
2. start ufed
3. no USE descriptions?!

First suspicion: hardcoded /etc/ path in ufed.

Patch to use direct make.globals path

I can't really read perl but was able to find the subroutine where make.globals is read from a hardcoded path in /etc/. With this patch ufed works again.
