Description:   Opened: 2002-06-28 04:06 0000
The current texmacs ebuild is out of date. The current version of texmacs is
1.0.0.7 and the current ebuild is 1.0.

I only made two changes to the old ebuild:
 1. Renamed ebuild to reflect new version number.
 2. Updated versions of dependencies to reflect what is currently available
and what I used during installation.

During installation using this updated ebuild I had two minor problems. First,
the old texmacs must be unmerged. Second, the user specific config
(~/.TeXmacs) must be moved so that the initial startup using the new version
of texmacs will not use the old user specific config.

I'm committing (a 1.0.0.8 btw) but: is there a reason for those changed
dependencies? Wouldn't it work just as well with the older ones? I haven't
changed the dependencies so far.

------- Comment #3 From Jeremiah Mahler 2002-07-03 17:14:27 0000 -------
I have no reason to "require" those dependencies, they are just the ones
that I used when I installed the package. I know it works with the
dependencies given but I don't know if it works with the old dependencies.
