Currently nvidia-drivers shows:
To work with compiz, you must enable the AddARGBGLXVisuals option

But that message is only useful for compiz users and, then, I think it should be shown by compiz ebuilds instead

I think the message should just be removed completely.  I don't believe the option is required anymore.  I don't have it set and things seem to be working fine.

I don't have nvidia card so I can't confirm if it is card type related or not...

@pinkbyte, any comment about this?

i have removed this option from my xorg.conf and it seems that it is unneeded anymore(enabled by default). Checked both with 295 and 302 driver versions, GPU -Nvudia 8600GT
