Description Rick Farina (Zero_Chaos) gentoo-dev 2012-07-01 00:25:10 UTC
specifically for my use case I need the speex and gsm use flags (which both libav and ffmpeg have but the virtual doesn't).

I'm sure there are more like that as well...

Thanks!

which package needs them?
Comment 2 Rick Farina (Zero_Chaos) gentoo-dev 2012-07-02 15:44:20 UTC
this is for net-misc/iaxclient from the pentoo overlay which is a dep of net-misc/warvox (also from my overlay). I'd like to get the deps a bit more sane and move them to gentoo-x86

11:53 <@Zero_Chaos> lu_zero: I'm back. if you are busy I can go through the two ebuilds and add all common use flags to the virtual for you, OR just the two I need. Just offering.
12:02 <@lu_zero> Zero_Chaos: if you want to edit feel free
12:03 <@Zero_Chaos> lu_zero: you want all common flags added or just the ones I specifically need?

I've added the two which I needed. I can add in all common use flags if desired (or anyone else can). If this is not desired the bug can be closed now as I have what I need.

imho better add flags as needed, it'd be a pain to try to maintain them all synced otherwise, closing
