I use a cradle with USB sync connection and
gnome-pilot causes segmetation fault if /proc/bus/usb/devices (USB preliminary file system) doesn't exist.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.run "gpilot-control-applet"
2.Follow the assistant, choose USB connection
3.When application displays "Now, presh your HotSync button..."


Actual Results:  
Crash!, segmentation fault
