By default gnome-shell picks the first account in the list as the authentication account.  This has been fixed in 3.4 but I've applied the patch listed on the upstream bug cleanly on 3.2 and suggest adding to 3.2 in portage especially if you plan on stabilising 3.2.

It seems only half of the available PolicyKit agents get this correctly. We are forced to do this change for now:
