Description:   Opened: 2004-02-19 06:41 0000 
When I did a emerge -upDv world, x11-misc/shared-mime-info-0.13 it was tryed to
be installed in my system by Gentoo. The next error message was printed:

checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl
configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool

!!! ERROR: x11-misc/shared-mime-info-0.13 failed.
!!! Function econf, Line 365, Exitcode 1
!!! econf failed


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge x11-misc/shared-mime-info-0.13
2. get the error message
3. fix it, :)...

I have the same problem with a sync dated of 2004-04-07

try to remerge XML-Parser
