Description Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-06-01 10:52:42 UTC
Is it OK to stabilize =dev-vcs/bzr-rewrite-0.6.3 ?

If so, please CC arches and add STABLEREQ keyword.

Stabilization of this package has been repoman-checked on the following arches: x86, amd64
Comment 1 Jens 2012-06-14 22:22:13 UTC
On my mostly stable x86 system, bzr-rewrite-0.6.3 does not work together with the stable bzr-2.4.1. It installs, but "bzr help commands" does not list the commands from this (like bzr rebase), and "bzr rebase" does not find it. Additionally to that, every call to bzr issues an error "Cannot import BzrFormat".

bzr-rewrite-0.6.2 works with bzr-2.4.1 flawlessly.

For me it seems there should be some blocker to avoid having those two packages installed together.

Archtested on x86: Regression found during runtime verification.

Blitzwing arch-test # bzr help commands
bzr: ERROR: No module named xml_errors
You may need to install this Python library separately.

Could someone from x86 confirm the following segfault:

When I start bzr-notify I get the following output:
