Description Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-06-01 09:39:03 UTC
Is it OK to stabilize =dev-haskell/hashed-storage-0.5.9 ?

If so, please CC arches and add STABLEREQ keyword.

Stabilization of this package has been repoman-checked on the following arches: x86, amd64
Comment 1 Paweł Hajdan, Jr. (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-07-31 14:00:45 UTC
Maintainer timeout (30 days). Arches please go ahead.
Comment 2 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-08-03 13:11:18 UTC
amd64 done
Comment 3 Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-08-03 13:17:05 UTC
added ~amd64 back. requires newer dev-haskell/quickcheck:2 and dev-haskell/random packages
Comment 4 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2012-08-03 19:05:05 UTC
amd64 stable
Comment 5 Brent Baude (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-08-06 21:06:33 UTC
ppc64 done
Comment 6 Sergei Trofimovich (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2012-08-09 10:36:25 UTC
Stable on alpha/ia64/sparc
Comment 7 Andreas Schürch gentoo-dev 2012-08-09 17:31:53 UTC
Hmmm....!?!

I don't see that dev-haskell/quickcheck:2 and dev-haskell/random are done on any arch!?
$ cat random-1.0.1.1.ebuild | grep KEY
KEYWORDS="~alpha ~amd64 ~ia64 ~ppc ~ppc64 ~sparc ~x86 ~x86-fbsd ~amd64-linux ~x86-linux ~ppc-macos ~x86-macos ~sparc-solaris ~x86-solaris"

Anyway, I can't simply do that either for x86...
=dev-haskell/random-1.0.1.1 would be ok to go
=dev-haskell/test-framework-quickcheck2-0.2.10 would also be needed for hashed-storage
=dev-haskell/quickcheck-2.4.2-r1 is an rdepend on dev-vcs/darcs
And dev-vcs/darcs (current stable 2.4.4-r1) depends on =dev-haskell/mmap-0.4* (but 0.5 is needed for the requested hashed-storage)

A newer dev-vcs/darcs (2.5.2-r2) would need a whole bunch of other packages which I haven't tested!

The following keyword changes are necessary to proceed:
#required by dev-haskell/mtl-2.1.1, required by dev-haskell/http-4000.2.3, required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/transformers-0.3.0.0 ~x86
#required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/http-4000.2.3 ~x86
#required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/tar-0.3.2.0 ~x86
#required by dev-haskell/http-4000.2.3[test], required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/httpd-shed-0.4 ~x86
#required by dev-haskell/text-0.11.2.2, required by dev-haskell/xml-1.3.12, required by dev-haskell/test-framework-0.6
=dev-haskell/deepseq-1.3.0.0 ~x86
#required by dev-haskell/test-framework-0.6, required by dev-haskell/text-0.11.2.2[test], required by dev-haskell/xml-1.3.12
=dev-haskell/hostname-1.0 ~x86
#required by dev-haskell/test-framework-0.6, required by dev-haskell/text-0.11.2.2[test], required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/xml-1.3.12 ~x86
#required by dev-haskell/text-0.11.2.2[test], required by dev-haskell/xml-1.3.12
=dev-haskell/test-framework-0.6 ~x86
#required by dev-haskell/haskeline-0.6.4.6-r1, required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/mtl-2.1.1 ~x86
#required by dev-haskell/http-4000.2.3[test], required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/split-0.1.4.3 ~x86
#required by dev-vcs/darcs-2.5.2-r2, required by darcs (argument)
=dev-haskell/text-0.11.2.2 ~x86

so, could someone please state if these packages should also get stabilized right now or if the should go into separate bugs or such!? Or do I miss something, as the other arches aren't marked stable yet!?
Comment 8 Andreas Schürch gentoo-dev 2012-08-13 07:11:31 UTC
tests got restricted, x86 stable.
Comment 9 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2012-12-07 19:45:18 UTC
ppc stable. Last arch, closing
