There are several bugs in the currently available ipset builds for Gentoo that are resolved in 6.12 - the most serious of which is one that prevents correct setting of timeouts in an ipset (full info at http://ipset.netfilter.org/changelog.html )
I can confirm that ipset 6.12.1 works with nothing more than a bump to the ebuild version - please add this as testing :)
Well, newer version 6.13 available. I just use this open bug for another bump request. Plus I spotted a simple typo: instead of eerror "there is NO kernel ip_set* modules in /lib/modules/<you_kernel>/... ." it should be eerror "there is NO kernel ip_set* modules in /lib/modules/<your_kernel>/... ." Renaming just works as expected.

ipset has been languishing for a few months now - robbat2 appears to be AWOL. If any developer is willing, can I just submit an ebuild for addition as testing? pretty please?
